Corporate social responsibility has been a philosophy underlying our daily practices and plans from the very beginning, and it has been included in the strategic goals of our company. We have been realizing CSR activities in order to add additional value to our work and to positively influence the world around us.We concentrate on competency-based volunteering, which means that our consultants and representatives share with our beneficiaries something of precious value: their knowledge and experience.

We have been focusing on two most important spheres:

  • We have been supporting non-governmental organisations in acquiring project management awareness in order to realize their objectives quicker and more effectively. We act pro bono: consulting on projects, conducting trainings and organizing the “2 Chairs Program”. We have been working with the most prominent NGOs in Poland: Polish Humanitarian Action, Akogo? Foudation, Polish Children and Youth Foundatin, Priest Joseph Tischner Children’s Hospice in Krakow and The Responsible Business Forum.
  • We have been engaging in the activities aimed at developing children’s and youth’s skills, believing that they will result in the development of their personal competences and, in future, in their higher effectiveness on the job market.

In recognition of our efforts in the CSR sphere, pmexperts received the “Responsibility Award” during the “Promotion of Corporate Social Responsibility” competition organized by PKPP Lewiatan, NSZZ Solidarność, and the Deloitte Advisory Company. This award marks pmexperts as a CSR leader in Poland, alongside companies such as: Centertel, GlaxoSmithKline, Kompania Piwowarska, PGNiG, PKP Energetyka, Samsung Electronics Poland, TP S.A., PTC and PKN Orlen.

We have also been distinguished in the prestigious report: ”Responsible Business In Poland 2013. Good Practices” – the biggest review of socially responsible business practices in Poland. It is issued by the Responsible Business Forum – the biggest NGO in Poland promoting CSR and sustainable development.

Together with the Polish Youth Card Association, the issuer of the Euro26 Card, we have been cyclically organizing „The Ekspert Project” event, which is dedicated to 18-29 years olds who want to know how to manage projects and implement this knowledge in their own daily activities. „The Expert Project” is organized as a part of the Project Management Day of Service – a USA-born initiative bringing together project managers from different parts of the world to share their project management services pro bono.

As part on the 2 Chairs program, we offer two free placements for representatives of non-profit groups in our PMP® Academy training course, which is based on the best international project management standards. To quality to participate in the program, candidates must describe projects which they plan to execute in the non-profit sphere, and in which their newly acquired skills and knowledge will be applied.

Since the very beginning, pmexperts has supported the English Summer Camp project organized by the Gdańsk branch of the Project Management Institute. Thanks to this endeavor, children in difficult situations can participate in English language courses, based on the highest quality educational materials and practices. This project has been organized every year since 2004 in the summer, and since 2010 in the winter season as the English Winter Camp. We support this effort financially and organizationally.

We also carry out pro-ecological activities. These initiatives include, among others, the implementation of environmentally friendly office management policy, the sustainable use of materials, waste segregation, and ecological education. Our office uses simple solutions that minimize paper, water and electricity consumption. We know that we are shaped by our daily habits, and so we inspire each other to continually implement ecologically friendly solutions.
